On behalf of our Union Grove Christian School family, I’m pleased to have this opportunity to introduce you to a very special Christian school. As you read and learn more about Union Grove – and hopefully, as you take the opportunity to schedule a visit – I think you’ll discover that our school is distinct.
Union Grove exists for the purpose of not only educating the mind but for building into the lives of young people Biblical principles and values that will enable them to mature and become committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Here at Union Grove, we endeavor to provide an education for the whole person – through the training of the body, mind, and spirit.
Union Grove Christian School provides a college preparatory program of study for students in three-year-old preschool through grade twelve.
Union Grove Christian School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial assistance program, or athletic and other school-administered programs.
Dr. Ken Harris, President of UGCS
“High school is tough, and many students struggle their way through both socially and academically. Union Grove Christian School has a Christian environment that not only had Bible class and chapels, but also had teachers who had a passion for Jesus. I genuinely enjoyed being submerged in a biblical environment on a day to day basis and while I was being prepared for college, I was also being prepared to stand firm in my faith when entering into “the real world”.”
“What I love most about UGCS is the spiritual emphasis that students encounter on a daily basis. It is a real encouragement to learn in an environment that places a priority in knowing Christ. It is also nice to know that the teachers at UGCS care about more than just getting a student to just pass a class, they care about our walk with Christ. The biblical training that I received at UGCS is something I will value my entire life as it helped me grow in my relationship with Christ.”
“I have attended UGCS since K4. UGCS is giving me a solid Christian educational foundation for my life. I am getting a great education along with a lot of life lessons that will certainly help me in the future. I love the teachers, the sports, the academics and UGCS.”
“I have been attending UGCS since K3. One of the things that I love most about school is being able to participate on the athletic teams, particularly volleyball and softball. I love the comradery and the bond that we share as members of the ball teams. I also love how I have learned so much about God, who He is, and how His word applies to my life while in school. My classes have emphasized, not only a push to gain more knowledge and facts, but has encouraged me in my walk with God. The classes are taught from a Christian worldview which is definitely supplying me with what I need to know as I prepare for college. ”
