At UGCS we believe that Christians are commanded to serve other people, but also that service is vital to spiritual growth. For this reason, our high school students, Minutemen, and honor society members are all encouraged to involve themselves in a service project. These opportunities enable our students to see how they can impact their school, church, community, and the world as well as experience the joy that comes from meeting the needs of others.
By promoting a culture in which service is expected and respected, we are often encouraged to see students respond to needs spontaneously and independently.

Food Drive for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission
Operation Christmas Child: collection and packing of shoeboxes to be sent by Samaritan’s Purse
American Heart Association Fundraiser
