Register for E-Books

We will continue to use e-textbooks for students in grades 9-12; however, e-textbooks are not a requirement for students.  If a student does not register for e-textbooks, they will be issued hardbound textbooks.

In order to have an e-textbook, a student will need to have a device on which they can download the app that will support the e-textbook. The most convenient device is a tablet. If your child would like to use an e-textbook, we would highly recommend purchasing one that has IOS or android software. BJU press allows your e-textbook to be licensed to 4 devices; a tablet, home computer, grandma’s computer, phone, etc. Phones will not be acceptable devices to use in the classroom. We have been told that the new Google Chromebook has the capability to download the app necessary for any BJU textbooks. Please note we will not give students wireless passwords for textbook use. If you do not have a device that can download the book on an app then this device cannot be used in school.

Students can have their textbooks in both e-format and hard copy. If they choose to have both formats, there will be an additional fee per book.

The textbooks that are available in e-format for the 2021-2022 school year are the following:
Ninth Grade: – College Prep Lit texts, Physical Science, and World History
Tenth Grade: – College Prep Lit texts, Government/Economics, and Biology
Eleventh Grade: -U.S. History, and Chemistry
Twelfth Grade: Senior Bible, and Physics

The rising seniors of UGCS will need to make note that the material for Senior Worldview Bible is all digital and they will need a tablet to access this material. There is an app that they will use for this material. This app will work on an Ipad 2 (or better), Android 4, or any computer or device running Google Chrome. It will not work on any Amazon Kindle Fire device, Mozilla Firefox browser, or Apple’s Safari browser.
